I'm impressed with teh actual work being accomplished in a timely manner. My experience with Body shops usually leaves me frustrated while the car sits half complete for weeks at a time.

The fenders come off easy, especially if the front bumper is already off. The only downside really is that you will have to "fit" the fenders when they go back on. Should be easy for a body guy to get it to look like new.

I would suggest taking them out due to similar reasons as taking off the bumpers. Plus, the black plastic mesh in the vent looks like crap when it is painted.

You don't. Not without breaking something, anyway.

But at this point, if you went far enough to remove the headliner and back glass, why not just pull the fenders? They're not that difficult to line back up.

Since you took a pic of the back side of the clips you should be able to access them from the same place. Use a long screw driver or similar tool to push both sides of the clip in. It might help to apply a little pressure (pulling vent out) while trying to defeat the clips.

Good progress, good call on taking the doors and hatch off that will leave you with no tape lines = quality job.
