Just Bought A Project 93 Fd

I Want The Car As A Daily Driver With At Least 275 Horsepower To The Wheels. How Can I Achive This? What Do I Have To Change Or Make Stronger To Have A Reliable Fd?

I Have Heard Of Making The Turbos Nonsequential What Does That Mean What Kind Of Benefits Come From That.

The Engine Is In Pieces So I Want To Build It Right. The Actual Block Where The Rotors Are Is Already In With The Transmission. So I Have Everything Else To Install.

Mods I Have Now Are Turbo Back Exhaust And Apexi Intakes. What Else Should I Get

Get the car running first with all the reliability mods. This could take you the best part of a year and lots of cash. Don't worry about modifications until then. By the you will be an expert and will not be asking questions that are asked daily and that could easily have been answered with a search.

And What's With The Weird Capitalization?

As was already said, get the car running first. A stock engine is a good reliable thing with more then enough HP for most people. Some people might argue that just having one as a daily driver takes to much money and can never really be had

You either have a lot to learn about the FD or a lot of money that's going to leave your bank account. If it's the later of the two, I'm sure there are lots of shops that would be happy to show you what nonsequential turbos are

If the "block" is already in the car, your engine is not in peices.

Make shure it has good compression before putting all the accesorys back on.

Get it running and make sure everything is A-ok. (compression/boost pattern) Then pick up a Power FC+intercooler+pump and have a reputable shop or person tune it. With your current mods you will meet or beat your goal, and the motor in theory will last a long time with proper maintenance.

My FD with those mods, lived for over 2 years and 30,000 miles, daily driven. It would have lasted longer but I accidentally ran it lean.

So you want someone to spend 15-30 minutes typing answers for you because you do not want to search? *All* of your questions are asked daily/weekly and all of them are answered in the FAQ and stickies.

The reason they tell you to search is because the questions you seek have been asked and answered 1000 times over. There are good links, threads and sticky's that can tell you anything you want to know. If you wish to have your hand held all I can say is that if you don't put forth a little effort you won't get much out of this forum. We have no idea of your skills or abillity. You mentioned going non-sequential (not a reliability mod) but done to simplify the turbo system for those who prefer the predictability of the boost or don't feel like troubleshooting the turbo control system. You'll have quite a time hooking up vacuum lines and connectors if you weren't the one who removed them and have never delt with this car before. If these comments rub you the wrong way perhaps you can find a member local to you that's willing to spend some time with you. Do you know who rebuilt the motor that's in the car now or is it a remanufactured motor or just a used one ? ? ? I wish you luck, and welcome to the list. Jack
