Check out you A/F there is a lot of diference if you R running too rich , and try to buy a Aphexi AVC-R it works perfect.

Now I'm going to single turbo , cause I have another how was single converted and it runs much much faster at the same 10psi, it get to the 170mph so fast, it was so fast that my bro crush it and leave it total lost.

When my 94 was bone stock it dynoed at 220 whp with bad spark plugs.

Not to repeats what others already said but 255 whp with that many mods...you need:

Steve Kan tunning.

I did...& worth every penny.

With that peice being fixed, you really should go get a new tune. The car tuned without a midpipe, and with bad coils. Change the fuel filter, plugs, wires, oil..and go get a retune.

1st thru 3rd up to about 80 or 90 then we had to slow for a light and he busted a u-turn to go after a Viper that passed us in the opposite direction while we were racing

Sorry but I'm not a dumba$$ ricer that goes around the forum making false statements.... It happened! Too bad you weren't there to witness it... But Mr. Z06 owner, his son, and my passenger were all there and witnessed what Mr. Z06 owner couldn't believe just happened... Needless to say he was impressed and liked my car, especially how loud the turbos, bov, and exhaust are.

You might have been with him for about the first 20ft. till he got traction He's almost as light as us, and he's pushing over 100 more whp than you. He didn't know how to drive.

"Especially how loud the turbos, BOV, and Exhaust are" Sorry, but that sounds like dumba$$ ricer items to be happy about promoting.

Wow I didnt even think about them, I just assumed rx7store was the only game in town for my area. Your right though, I looked up Frederick on the map and it looks to be about the same distance as rx7store. I will be giving them a call, thanks

I just saw this...Jesus Christ you are so full of ******* ****. A Z06 will reach 60mph in 1st gear for cripe sake Which is about where you will be long gone.

And if he can't beat you, WTF was he doing turning around and going for the Viper?

and the key thing...how dod he compliment you on your turbos, BOV, and exhaust when he broke off at the light to go get a Viper. Did he yell it in the wind?

For **** sake, I hate internet racing stories

If you weren't there and you don't believe me I really don't care! If he shifts twice that puts him in 3rd right? If I shift twice that puts me in 3rd right? If the speedo says 90 that puts me at 90 right? And as far as traction problems there were NONE for either car. Sorry to disappoint you. We played around for a couple miles or so then at the 1st light we raced. Before our race we were sitting at the light chatting cuz we cruised for a couple miles prior to actually racing and were chatting while driving. It's no that hard! Tell you what: go find a C6 Z06 and go race him yourself if you don't believe me! Don't go on what you "know"! Notice the quotation marks??? Yes I'm a ricer because a guy compliments me on how my car sounds... My bad! I didn't realize that was ricer... I guess that makes everyone here a ricer since they all care how their cars sound...

A stock C6 Z06 puts out 470rwhp with a VERY flat powerband weighing in somewhere between 3100-3200lbs. I'm guessing the guy didn't know how to drive his Corvette properly. Either that or he was only doing half-throttle so not to make you feel upset about losing horrendously.

I was given the impression by a dyno guy that they could reliably put down 450-460 whp stock, but that's still fast.

regardless....there is no way mazdatimboy kept with the car anywhere after the end of 1st gear. But if it makes him sleep better at night we will just humor him.

Just checked out his story... 350whp won't keep up with a C6 Z06 unless it's an Exige... or maybe a Atom

Heh, the Z06 is the only car that I know of that can autocross without shifting gears

I'd go to RX7Store for parts and Dave at KDRotary for service/tuning. You should have let me know you were having problems Slim, maybe the fix would have been as easy as last time (and I could use some more Wendy's).

BTW: That manual boost sontroller you have is capable of holding well over 10psi. It was doing 16psi on my 7 in it's early days.

Like I said before go race one yourself! I'll gladly do it again to prove it! Maybe he was a bad driver... All I know is under the exact circumstances of that day thru 3 gears I was even with a Z06. I'll leave it at that... cuz THAT is the truth! I'm done thread jacking...
