The only place I can think of is Mazda Recycling in Rancho Cordova, CA. And they only have one FD.

PM "Fritz Flynn" here on the forum. He has about 50 FD's parted out in some hidden garage full of parts. I'm sure he has just about anything you might need.

I like Fritz, but he almost never has what I need. It's as if he says "Brian needs a part, let me sell it off the cars real quick"

yea i actually just bought a part from Fritz, for my fuel pump assembly. im just looking for a local FD or a few at some junkyards to pull random parts small little things i can find that i may need or some rare stuff thats hard to find or too expensive. but so far my search has came up with nothing in the time searching around here.

i dont know how someone can have 50 FD's with random parts, the dude must make some bank on all those random parts, even if it was from forum members alone

I recommend you post in the regional forum.

Generally, FDs get stripped down and parted before they reach the junkyard. That may be slowly changing, but I still think it takes luck to find one on the lot with more than a handful of useful parts.

You have to figure that with just under 14,000 FD's brought here to the US from 1993-95, and with about 10,000 of those being registered today (i.e. known to be in their owner's possession); the chance of finding one or more in a junkyard right around the corner from you is going to be a pretty slim chance.

ive seen one FD at a junkyard in my life, 2 days later when i went to get some parts from it (headlight assm.) the car was completely stripped, i mean stripped to the bone, one of the quarters were cut off from the b-pillar. and that was from a rolling chassis to nothing in a matter of days. i know my luck on this is low, i just wish i could find something.

50 at one time is a stretch although I'm well beyond that # in FDs owned

Seriously though I still have a HUGE inventory of used stock parts so if you need something please send me a PM and I'll do my best to help you out

Any time I call a junkyard and ask if they have an FD in the lot, they suddenly give me an attitude as if I'm trying to play some sort of joke on them...
