junk hoses
any of you guys know what the best replacement is for the factory i/c hoses? {rubber or other}
for now, do any of you guys have at least the lower intercooler hose in good condition?

You can get 2.75" silicone from http://www.bakerprecision.com/ and many other sources. I think NAPA and truck stops sell 2.75" rubber hose that is also a suitable replacement.
Constant-torque hose clamps (stay tight through heat cycling) are available from http://www.mcmaster.com/. This is a good solution if your hose clamps keep coming loose.

While we are on the topic of hoses, For the radiator hoses, Ive seen pictures of some FD's that replaced their stock piping with metal piping, is this a good idea, or no? You wouldnt have to worry about it spiliting or leaking.
