Joy - Another secondary boost problem
Ok I need a little help.
This varies from day to day. One day I will get 13 on primary and at 4500 it drops and then jumps up and flutters between 10-13. Kind of hard to tell exactly but it is above 10 when it is fluttering. I suspect this to possibly be a connection from the turbo to the IC.
But then the next day I have no secondary boost. it goes from 13 to 8ish and then just keeps falling. It did this all day.
The next day it is back to fluttering.
For some background info-
The secondary wasn't working when I bought the car this year. Put on a downpipe and did a vacuum hose job and replaced all the check valves. Still no secondary.
Put on a hi-flow cat and catback and finally get secondary boost but it flutters.
I am not getting any smoke nor strange sounds when the turbos kick in. I checked the CRV and when I pulled the vacuum hose I heard vacuum releasing so it should be getting vacuum. When I did a vacuum test on it, it also checks out ok. I then checked the CCV and it appears to be working correctly by just doing the car on/off test.
I looked around for loose/blown off hoses but didn't see any, plus since I am getting secondary boost sometimes I doubt it is a hose.
I guess I might have more than one issue but thought I would ask.
