Jolt from first to second gear?

I recently replaced my clutch, don't know if that would cause this, but i've noticed lately that when shifting from first the second, approx. when the shift **** goes into second gear (i'll need to confirm this) i can feel a jolt through the car, but this doesn't happen in any other gear. also, if i take my time to shift and carefully match the RPM, the problem seems to go away, but otherwise there's definitely some sort of jolt. does anyone know what this could be? second gear synchro?

thanks!

ACT makes many different single plate clutches. I can think of 6 different PP+disc combinations off the top of my head.

Could it be a matter of not pushing the clutch pedal down far enough to fully disengage it during the shift? Or perhaps the added mass of the new clutch disc (versus the worn, old one that it replaced) makes the engagement a little rougher if the revs aren't matched.

Is it significant enough that you think it's a problem, or is it just an observation that things have changed slightly?
