JIC Magic 503 Spartan

Does anyone know where I could find this exhaust, does anyone have this or the 505? if so, what is your experience with the exhaust? I'm very interested in this exhaust and the Kakimoto. I'm not interested in opinions on how it looks, i can see the pictures, but I'd like some info on sound, performance, and where to find it.
thanks,
yayer

You can get the 503 from laujesse, canman69 and maybe Inakai but who will install it? It has the remotely controlled silencer. I wouldn't take that to a muffler shop, race shop maybe.

JIC also has a titanium can & tip but with SS piping, which brings the price down $300. You can have rx7tore.net special order it for you.

Oh, and I beleive JSpecRacer7 is using the 503.

alright thanks a lot. Do you have any suggestions as to where i should take it? Would it be worth it to drive 3-4 hours to ? also, the only diff between titanium and ss is weight right?

takakaira also sells it

I would take it to a race shop because they would have to run the cable from the muffler into the cab and mount that handle somewhere.

The 503 is intended for Japan only and US stores won't sell it to you. Try PM'ing JSpecRacer7 and ask him if his has the remore silencer cable thing and if it requires maintenance.

Yes, titanium is only for weight savings. It is also brittle. I like the look alot and that's why the 1/2 ti' and 1/2 SS is an excellent choice. PM Jason for the price on that (w/club member discount he can't post it). I doubt he has it in stock. Oh, the full titanium has the flame torched tip. I don't know if the 1/2 Ti' one does also.

Curious

I'm curious, at I-M-Racing.com they are selling a Bullet Spartan 505 Ti exhaust. In the pic, they have a cable at the bottom left. Might this kit have the same remote silencer feature as the 503 ??

They can't sell it legaly

Ziel Motorsports is the distributor for the US. Jon said it will "not" be imported in to the US because US people don't like high maintenance items or cars.

That picture is from the JIC Japanese web site. I would call I-M Racing and verify if it has the cable. It's possible they are buying it black market but most likely they just used that pic because that's all they had.
