AB Jdm throttle cable vs us throttle cable

Hey my jdm throttle cable on my jdm rx7 has seen better days and needs a replacement I'm wondering what the difference is between us throttle cable and jdm throttle cable. All I can think of is the us one being a bit longer but if anyone has a definite answer it would be much appreciated as Mazda Canada doesn't deal with jdm parts

It's WAY longer. The JDM one has a straight shot from the left side of the engine bay, the US one snakes around the throttle body.

Yet another problem with getting a RHD car, some parts will be crazy hard and way pricey.

Might be worth measuring the throttle cable and seeing if you can find one in a junkyard that's a similar length.

Actually if you have a part no for a JDM part, your local Mazda dealer can request the part number to be created in the Mazda Canada parts system.Once that is complete the part can then be ordered.

Believe that's been dead for a while, late cable is F100-41-660D.

I find you can get the cables re-constructed cheaper than you buy new normally - and generally in a day or so, they can re-use the outer too if that's OK.....

controlcables.com can make just about any cable, any length, any mount, push or pull, custom throw length, and specific style of ends. In fact now that I think about it I might have to give them a call since my throttle cable is starting to get a bit ratty. I used them heavily in sand rail/ off road vehicles.
