jdm manual pedals

what is involved to make JDM manual pedals work in a usdm car? please only post if you know, not if you feel like making a comment. thanks

You will have to cut (and reweld) or somehow bend one of pedals at the kink (clutch i think?) because the JDM one bends too far and it gets in the way of the other pedals.

Sorry if thats not very specific I only vaguely remember as I was shopping for my conversion.
