jdm front clip into usdm chassis

hey
i'm thinking about buying a jdm front clip and maybe dropping the engine all the other pits and pieces into a roller that i'll buy when i come up with the funds.
i was wondering what i should be looking for since the thing is imported from japan.
and also if u have any tips on stripping the whole engine bay for cleaning, and then putting it back together, i would love to hear them.

thanks

An engine that hasn't been dogged on, preferably out of a later year car with the "99 spec" turbos. alternatively you could save yourself about three grand (or more) and just buy the turbos from fdnewbie, rx7store, etc. There's no mechanical difference that i'm aware of other than the solenoids being centralized into blocks and the change in the turbos.
