Hey Guys,

I was just looking over Jap parts specialist.com's prices and some are just too crazy.

Before buying I was wondering if any of you guys have done business with the before and what they can or do warranty their products.

Thanks alot guys, I was specificaly looking the Blitz Boost Controller.

Well i was about to buy a pfc but realized. Everything that they sell is j-spec. so some things may not work with the FD's in the states. Also, they have a strict return and warranty policy and are very very very slow on returning emails.

 

Like DMoneyRX-7 said, be very careful of any parts that are model year-specific, since they sell mostly J-spec products.

 

seen em on ebay...prices DO look a lil high for the used stuff i think.

i think i looked at them for pfc`s, great price BUT they were all for 96-98

so yea watch out hehe

 

Non-sense. I purchased a Power FC and commander brand new for 93-95 RX7s and it works fine. I bought it off of Jappartsspecialists. I actually bought it directly from the website and not off of Ebay. Took a while to get it, but it was worth the money saved. He said that they had sent him the wrong year model Power FC, so he had to send it back and wait again for my right one. No big deal though. Trust them, just make sure that you know exactly what you are buying. Good luck.

Ok that's what i was thinking. Just 400 bucks for the BLitz ID Boost Controller seemed crazy. Even though it is J=Spec intstructions and onboard guides are always english....

Jus a lil more input and I will be satisfied..... Until someone can sell PFC and Commander for 750$ I think Jap parts specialist will still be a thought.

 

talk to FDnewbie he always fines JDM stuff and i'm sure he can find whatever you want as long as you give him time.

 

I got my pfc & commander for for dirt cheap from jap parts. I was very satisfied with shipping time and service as well.

 

I got my PFC and commander from Jap Parts a few years ago for $1100 when every other place wanted $1300+. Should have waited a few years to get in on the $750 deal...

 

I also bought some stuff from thier, excellent quality and service. Their prices on their website are lower than what they advertise on ebay.

 

I got an ECU from them. Received it in about 8 days. Not too bad

 

I bought my apexi pfc w/ commander for about 750 shipped about a month ago....i recieved it in 2 weeks...I definately recommend these guys!!!

 

I bought a mazdaspeed steering wheel off them, they were really great!!!

 

id do business with them anytime again, spent 1200 for my car there and everythings was great

 

I got my PFC and Commander from them. Really good customer support and good prices. Took a little longer to get than sombody local but it was worth it. I would deffinetly do buisness with them again.

 

Phew... I seen this and thought it could be bad for me to read this... just ordered a PFC/commander from them.. they have a huge rep on Ebay.... and they responded quickly for me... we'll see I guess
