J-Spec RX-7

Is it feasible to completely update an American FD to the latest Japanese specs of the last model year before it was discontinued? I'm talking about every single thing, interior and exterior. I'm thinking it can't be done because of incompatibilities between the RHD and the LHD. What would something like this cost?

If this topic has already been covered, than may a link to the thread would be nice. I searched the forums but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Last year made was 2002, that was the spirit r...

Is it possible to completely convert a us spec fd to a jspec.. yes, with an incredible amount of funds... If your talking converting every single part to a spirit r, you wouls save money and time by importing a spirit r.

Doing any JDM conversion regardless of car is expensive. You can make it look like one for a reasonable price but after that....

If you're looking to convert to RHD then i would suggest trying to find a front cut ofthe model you're looking at as it will contain all the front end components you would need to do the conversion. Hope that helps a little.
