ive searched and dident find this...

ive read about the gen 3, and about N2O and how it cant take it.. from what it seems, a rotary engine is a pain in the ****.
maybe its just me, but the mapping and detonation gots me think this isent the car for me, from what ive saw it dosent take much for this 2 happen.

well, what i rly want to kno is if its worth it? all the extra care and what not for the upkeep of this car. looks are amazing, but its simular to the supra in a way and i havent seen anything about blowing up and seems to be able to take more power at a time?

also, in a mag article i saw, some guy took the rx7 and put the supra twin turbo motor in.. if this is posible, and isent so much work and money maybe this could be the best of both worlds?

pls dont flame me, just couldent find this on my own.

The RX-7 is not the car for you. Look into Supras, you will probably be very happy with one, reliable and looks pretty good.

Even the noobs on their FIRST post know about the RX7Club and it's flammage

FYI, a third gen RX7 is a HUGE money pit (read: incredibly expensive), and is not very reliable. Take Goodfella's advice.

If you don't know how to do this yourself, do you know a fabricator who can do it for you? How do you know they're able to do it if you don't know what they need to do?

A motor swap is a HUGE project, even if you're doing something relatively simple like swapping in a newer motor from the same model. Trying to install the motor from a totally different car is a very bad idea if you have to ask what's involved in doing it. That RX-7 with the Supra motor doesn't have a hood because the hood wouldn't close with that tall engine in there. And this is a 'professional' shop's work.

Please be more realistic, and start with a smaller project. Buy an FC turbo, and enjoy driving it fast. Learn some more about the rotary and THEN start tinkering with it.
