It's a Penetrating Oil! No! It's a Grease!
I've been slowly going through my car disassembling all the mechanisms, cleaning and re-greasing all the 23 year old linkages, latches, hinges, and dodads, basically anything that moves and rubs against another piece of metal and should be cleaned and have a coating of grease applied. The problem is many things can not be disassembled to apply a thick grease to the pivoting parts. In the past I have tried pushing the grease in with my fingers, with limited success, or giving up and just oiling the part knowing that in a short time the oil will migrate out attract dust and dirt and the part will need lubricating again. Well, boys and girls no more! I have discovered a magic elixir: Wurth HHS-K.
Why HHS-K? Because it is compatible with rubber and plastic. But, most importantly this is magical stuff. It sprays on like a penetrating oil creeps into all the nooks, cracks, and crannies and then turns into a very thick tenacious grease. Just a word of caution, wear gloves when you use it. If you get it on your hands it quickly spreads, gets all over your fingers and then turns into grease; you might as well just stick your fingers in a tub of wheel bearing grease and try to work on your car, you'll need orange hand cleaner to get it off.
Here is a video of the stuff
