Shifter Grease or what kind of oil?

Shifter Grease or what kind of oil?
Hey guys im buying an entire shifter rebuild kit from atkinsrotary.com It includes teh upper and lower bushings the small round petal piece with 3 bolts and teh three rubber surrounds... i just had a quick question does the bottom of the shifter liek where the ball goes need any grease or oil? anything at all? ALso im trying to keep teh car stuck but i need to buy a shifter **** that doesnt shake liek the stock one... but looks stock...

would redline 75W90 gear oil ( im using for differential ) be okey to use in here as well?

75w gear oil is fine. Preferably any synthetic will do. pour about half a cup in the shifter housing AFTER you take the shifter out.

Don't know exactly how much it is, fill it to the bottom of the flange.
