are you talking about the comparison of mine to david garfinkles??? yes, those are two different manifolds. mine has heavy machining done to it and his has heavy polishing done to it. same 3rd gen LIM though.

he made a plate to cover the EGR completely. instead of putting a bolt-on block-off plate on there, he made a large contouring plate and had it welded in place.

Good work man, cant wait to see it in person one day. Are you coming down toward the end of Jan?
Hey man can you pm me where you got your IC pipe from? I cant remember.
Thanks,
Stephen

Paul, that just flat looks AWESOME. Definitely something I'd like to try myself at some point
.
Did you start with a JDM LIM or a US manifold? I know the JDM's don't have the EGR stuff, but I don't know to what extent. Having the "hollow" manifolds looks INCREDIBLE, BTW.
Did you have the throttle body linkages powdercoated, or is it just cleaned up? That looks really good - I might have to try that at some point. I've torn down a ton of FC throttle bodies, so I'm handy there
.
Keep up the good work!
Dale

thanks a bunch dale!!! all of the equipment is USDM. ive never seen the JDM LIM before so i dont know. i HAVE seen the JDM UIM, however. . . it has all the same casting, except some things are "filled in". it looks the same just minus some holes.
the linkage was coated. . . yes. . . though in the future itll be chromed. i think thatll look better.
one thing. . . how did you like the ability to see the polished fuel rail through the LIM???
i thought it looked dead sexy. hahahaha.
