hey guys...last weekend i installed a few guages in my car. air/fuel, boost, and oil pressure. since then my car has been spuddering a little bit when its idling. not bad, but enough for me to notice it and it annoy me. it probably has something to do with tapping into the O2 sensor or something...any ideas what this could be?

 

Oil pressure would not affect anything unless you moved or pulled out a spark plug wire.

Boost is easy as long as you don't leave something uncapped.

A/F could be a problem is you don't get a good connection back to the o2 sensor. If the o2 sensor isn't reading you will spudder.

I would check the o2 tap then make sure all of the plug wires are good and tight.

 

all i did when i tapped into the 02 at the ecu was just wrapped the wire going to the guage around the wire into the ecu....i need to solder it...maybe that will help???
