IR Performance.com Shipping Times?
Has anyone else experienced long shipping times from IR Performance.com? I've only heard good things from them so I decided to put in a order for a variety of gaskets on the 3rd and only received a confirmation email so far. I tried messaging and writing their support email with no response so far. their website says even their non-expedited shipping options ship within 3-4 business days. So I was just wondering if anyone else had such long wait times from them as well?

We are extremely short handed due to the state of the world and the entire industry is affected by supply chain issues right now. I'm not going to get into a conversation about politics or economics but when the government forces shutting down businesses and imposing restrictions while giving incentives to stay home it becomes very difficult to find competent employees who want to work. Different parts of the country experienced the pandemic differently and unfortunately we are in one of the hardest hit and restricted regions. When you are already short handed and people are constantly out sick it doesn't help things. That being said, I have tech, shop assistant, and shipping/receiving positions available. If anyone is looking for a position or knows someone they can refer, please send a resume to ihor@irperformance.com. In the mean time we are moving through our build and sales queue as quickly as we are able and continue to provide the best products and services we can. Thank you for the support and patience.

Wait times in this day and age are always longer than normal, I think I ordered some maintenance stuff (brake packages, fluids, premix, etc) from them and it took about two weeks to get to CA. This was back when everything everywhere was on back order.
The sales email, I feel, it might be too easy to drown in their inbox. I emailed paul@irperformance.com directly and got prompt responses, an accurate ETA and my stuff arrived very thoughtfully packaged.

I ordered a bunch of different gaskets and O-rings, I'm thinking maybe they were on back order? I went ahead and emailed Paul, hopefully I get a response.

oh my bad then, I thought their sales@irperformance.com address was a sales email, guess if they are just backlogged then its fine, I definitely should've ordered something small like this from the Mazda dealership then, just thought it would be easier to bundle with the ACT clutch kit I bought.

my problem isn't that the shipping company is taking forever, id be fine with that nothing can really be done once its in their hands, I just haven't even received another email after the original order placement back on the 3rd stating the the items were even shipping in the first place.

I realize I'm being dramatic but I swear this happens and it's such a weird dichotomy I will never understand. This is literally what they're in business to do. No one made them or even begged them to do it. If they don't want to deal with sales that's fine, they don't have to make them. But if they choose to conduct that business they need to see it through, properly. Telling this guy he should have bought somewhere else and left the real professionals alone to allow them to focus on the things that really matter is utterly ridiculous.

It's so interesting to me that people seem to regularly take positions like this...

If this was 2018/9 before covid, I would not be making the above statement. I don't think anyone else would either.

An email advising of the delay isnt that hard even with supply chain issues.
"Dear ****, thanks for the order. We are having supply chain issues and the order will be delayed. Sorry and thanks"
You could even copy and paste that for all your emails haha.
I guess I just feel the OP. I have ordered a handful of parts for other projects and received no follow up emails, no updates, anything.
Regarding our cars, Im looking at rx7.com and Ari's garbage turn around time that no one here seems to mind.

Half our staff has been out with covid since new years. We are just getting back to full capacity, which is still short handed on the best day. Please either email the shop at sales@irperformance.com with your info and order number or call the shop at 732-662-1794 and leave a message. We do not return calls if there is no message. We receive far too many spam calls. We appreciate the patience.

bump... called at different times over the past week, left voicemails, emails to multiple different addresses, still no response, wondering if anyone has any direct contact to someone there? at this point I might just get a refund through PayPal and buy the gaskets I need from Atkins as this is getting ridiculous, almost a month with no contact, anyone have any experience with Atkins shipping time?

You’re not the only one. I ordered an oil filler neck around Christmas, I emailed recently and have not gotten a response. Luckily it is not critical.
I do have a buddy who ordered a few odds and ends but is losing his mind waiting for his knock sensors so he can get his car tuned and out of the shop. He’s sent multiple emails and phone calls and never a response.
Not trying to bash at all as I am a business owner myself who is very short handed, the only thing saving my butt is communication. If I don’t let my clients know what’s going on, it’s a nightmare.
I hope they get it figured out soon.

I have two outstanding orders with them that were placed in November, 2021. No proactive communication from them or responses to my voicemails. They responded to an email from me two weeks ago, saying they'd look into it, then no followup from them for another week. I inquired again, received another reply from them saying they'd look into it. Still waiting.
I know they do excellent work in their shop and they've earned that reputation. If I was in the area I wouldn't hesitate to send my car there. But the purchase and service experience when buying parts from the site, for me, has been sub-optimal.
