Intermittent starting problem
Started fine cold this morning...fired right up. Get to work, sits for 5 hours and I turn on the ignition...never turns over after a few seconds. I turn the ignition off, turn it on again and starts sluggish but does start. I get home with the engine fully warmed up, turn off the car and start it up just fine. I did this 5 more times, turned it off and back on and it fired up fine every time. Any idea what is going on?
And, if this car starts fine when I press the gas pedal down halfway, is that giving it more fuel at startup - or - does a half throttle at startup give it more air?
This crn is totally stock .... just replaced the coolant sensor and primary injectors.
Idles fine at stoplights and no other problems running on the road..
Any idea of what could be causing this?
