intermittant boost creep?

well, my FD lives in virginia and i live in california. I am in virginia for the holidays and needless to say i have been wringing my car out. Im in deltaville virginia(ie: backwoods) and so late at night i hit the country highways with authority. last night i made about 5 or 6 runs mostly from a roll up to the top(ish) of 3rd gear. on one of the rolls i noticed my boost guage was showing about 13. Now the weather here is freezing and thats part of the reason i wanted to wring it out. I have freshly rebuilt turbos and i want to see how they creep with my stock intake and full exhaust. That one run they read 13psi is the only creep i have seen. the needle normally sits contently at 10. so my question is. can boost creep come and go from run to run or is my autometer boost guage reading strangley. its brand new and it should have no leaks anywhere.

It is probably because of the cold weather. I noticed with my car, I get higher boost when it is colder outside.

no doubt it does. but these runs were all made in the span of 20 minutes. why would it change from one run to the next?

Fact that turbos were re-built suggests to me that oil or crud may have gotten blown into the wastegate control line and could intermittently plug up the pill.

I'm getting tons of creep in this cold weather, especially on the highway....if the IC heat soaks in traffic it goes away for the most part....it's all about charge density, plus I upgraded my IC pipes, y pipe, and connections which made a significant difference in flow
