Got my Apexi EL boost gauge in today...

Hey all,

Well, I got my Apex'i EL boost gauge in today. Looks very, very nice. Got just it in time too since later this week, I'm gonna' meet up with an RX-7 owner (first two visits was just talk/Q&A) and do a compression check on the car and test drive as well maybe. Anyhow, I have a question. I had ordered the PSI version of this gauge but the word "PSI" is not mentioned on the face and it's in bars. I have seen that the KPA versions have "KPA" imprinted on there. What's the deal? I have included an attachment. Thanks, eZ

I'm not sure but I think you got the wrong gauge.

Yah. Man, I'll have to ring back Rotary Xecret. I have specifically requested and ordered the PSI version (403-A027) but I got the KPA version (403-A042). What's weird is that my e-mail confirmation I got from them when I submitted order was "PSI" but on my invoice inside the shipment said "KPA."

Well, guess I'll have to set up a return order... Anyone, experience this goof-up from Rotary Xecret before?

Thats too bad they mixed up your order. Hope you get it sorted out in a reasonable time. Let me know when you find another 7, I'll tag along again.

Hey,

Do they even make Apex'i PSI boost gauges? I have never seen a photo of one on the internet...all I see are the KPA versions. But when I ordered with Rotary Xecrete, they offered PSI but shipped me KPA instead? Regardless, I have to return my KPA version.

Hi,

Sorry to note that. I ordered the PSI mechanical version. What's going on?
