Nothing AT ALL wrong with the stock interior when it's new/fresh... the design is/was fantastic, materials just left a little to be desired. There's just something "right" about it when you sit in it.

Although it's almost embarrassing to show mine so soon after those gorgeous pews above, I finally got round to re-finishing my leather seats. Had to be done because the original Alcantara-style ones were wearing through. I did it myself, took all the covers off, repaired the rips and then re-connolised them with some special leather dye stuff. Came out alright (for a half-wit). Also swapped the Fisher Price ....errrr, I mean Sparco... wheel for a lovely genuine Nardi

I also got fed up with those bloody GReddy gauges breaking every other Sunday, so finally bit the bullet and sacked them out for some decent stuff. Stack all the way

Boost gauge that handily turns red when you're about to overboost and blow yourself to the moon

Even dug out the spare black face for the wideband so they kinda match. So much neater!

Blimey, another four years' gap till the next update then...

I am a sucker for some STACK gauges.
Never understood why there wasn't more love for them.

Gordon,

My experience has been that the 94/95 far outweighs the 93 in finish quality that it truly is (to abuse the phrase) "Night & Day". I believe his car was a 95.
The 93's had a "Flat" design pattern on most of the dash with a 'clear coat' type covering that quickly peels and looks very poor. The 94/95 had a thick 'dinosaur skin' type design pattern/finish that endured much better. My 94 (with ~60k miles however) in 2004-2005 looked like this:

I think the biggest difference is where the passenger airbag is. I personally think it looks much more modern with the airbag cover? there instead of just a flat piece like on the 93's.

That's it, I am gonna start looking for a 94 dash to fit in my 93's...
