Honestly, I couldn't figure out how to pull it without breaking the clip it's held into. :\

Looks good. Let us know how the shifter console holds up to abrasion from the arm resting upon it.

Cigar lighter socket - Push inward on retainer in back while pushing outward toward front of panel. Comes out every time.

Makes sense, thanks.

The only reason I didn't ask on here prior to paint was I was in a crunch for time as my painter friend had to use the hardener before it went bad. We taped off the cigarette part very well. Contrary to what the photo shows, it's actually very shiny in the crevice the lighter rests; it's just dusty.

Got it all back in with ease. However, I did scuff up the gauge cluster panel just slightly near the column. However, it's hard to see. Either way, I'm satisfied. When I get some new batteries for my camera, I'll take a couple shots of it installed.

Bob, I'll text/call you about the hood. Thanks again for your help!

Ok, here they are installed. Please note that I did get them a little dirty installing them... I wish I would have wiped them down. Either way, they look good in person.

Here they are.

Here you can see a big hand print mark where I reinstalled the cluster. It wiped off with easy with a micro-fiber towel.

Looks nicely done. Kind of like cars of today with the shiny smooth black. Will be interested to see how long the surface lasts without chipping.

Good job, but it looks like it'll get dusty quick... I'm looking at doing this but spraying with truck bedliner.

It was dusty when I installed it as it sat for a while in the house allowing the clear to harden. Also, smears and whatnot also were on them due to the handling while installing them.

It's just like a black car, dust shows on it pretty easily. However, in person it's not noticeable at all. The camera tends to pick up on any imperfections such as the aforementioned.

If/When you do the bedliner spray, please post pics, I'm intrigued.

The only thing I would be concerned with would be any possible reflections during a sunny day. I think you'll be ok on the glare side of things as you didn't coat the gauge hood (so no glare problems on the windshield). Either way, it looks nice.

Thanks.

Correct, that's why I didn't do the gauge hood due to the glare it would produce.

Yeah, I'm satisfied with it. I think if I ever do anything else later on, it will be the REAL carbon fiber overlay.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.
