Question interior lights dont go on when turn on headlamps..

i just noticed on the drive home just now that my interior lights dont work when i turn on the turn signal lights

these include the gauges, the whole A/C panel, and the glovebox.

my turn signal lights dont go on either.

also, the beeping noise when i open the door while the lights are on doesnt beep

how do i fix? what do i look for?

You need to check the 10a Room fuse under the dash.

Then you need to check the TNS relay under the hood, and the fuses on the positive battery connector.

i checked the fuses under the dash, the 10a room one. doesnt seem like theres a problem.

there is another Red 10 fuse on the box that covers the fuses, should i use try that one?

just to be clear

its not the light in the cabin

its the light when you first click the turn signal peice. 2nd click would be turning on the headlights

am i suppose to hear a click from the tns when turning this on?

Could this be telling you your stop lamp fuse is out?

ok

i checked everything

i switched out the 10a room fuse with another fuse, and nothing has changed

i checked the relay boxes and it seems everything is normal. i couldnt find anything marked TNS in on the relay boxes tho. i checked for a "click" from the relays but heard nothing.

any other suggestions before i take it to a shop?

I'm having this same problem too I think it could be my TNS relay... or the relay modual because it'll click on and off when I tap it also the fans switch on and the car isn't started up

What have you done to the car lately, that culd cause this, have you washed it !? Washed the engine, changed the Head Unit... you must have done something electrical lately or it's very unlikely that it would just "blow". What you did, no matter how insignificant, or foolish is going to help us isloate what fuses to look at...

i did nothing whatsoever electrical the past how many weeks.

i did get my engine bay cleaned a little over a month and a half ago. would this have affected the fuses or whatever it is?

yeah if you didn't run it it could have gotten water logged... well i think my problem could be the relays so I think I'm off to mazdatrix to go get some.... then off to rotary power to finish my car... *sigh* almost there
