it could be the fuse in the fuse box in the car (mine keeps blowing b/c i have the boost controller wired to it-i am rewiring; i wasn't the one who wired it in the first place like that ). This fuse I believe is 15a in the middle row, second column from the left. I'll try to draw a diagram: The asterisk represents the fuse I'm talking about...whenever my fuse blows, the interior lights go out (along with the gauges and all the other interior ligths). GL

WTF? Are you saying the headlights flip up and do not illuminate, or that they illuminate and do not flip up?

Are you calling the front white running/parking lights "headlamps"/"headlights", by any chance?

Regardless, you never said whether you checked the TNS relay or not.

Gouki7,

If *only* your odometer isn't lighting, and everything else lights up in the interior (forget about the headlight stuff for now), it's gonna be a bulb or possibly connection in the gauge pod connector.

For the headlights, what's going on with the hi beams, they work? Is the flash-to-pass working? As for the headlights flipping up, is it only when you press the retractor button on the dash, or do they flip up when you try to illuminate the lights with the combination switch?

when i click the light switch next to the steering wheel twice, the only thing that happens is the headlights flip up and turn on. thats about all that happens: no gauge lights, no glovebox light, no a/c panel light, and no tail lights (but they do work when i step on the brake).

when i say headlamps, i mean the running/parking lights, sorry about that

i checked both relay boxes under the hood. although, i dont see any relays labeled TNS, but i checked every relay thats connected to the battery and they seem alright

The TNS realy is in teh front long and skinny relay box it is lableded "TNS RELAY." It is teh 4th on over from the left right next to the radio relay. It should click everytime you hit that first notch when turning the nobb.

insane...
I think it's a bad wire... I've checked the wiring and relays and some of them get power and some don't so I'm gonna go through the body harness 2morrow (if it doesn't rain) and see if there is a clipped wire or something

Palumbo, it's definitely the relay or combo switch (or wiring). It's most likely the relay.

The TNS relay is #5 in the pic.

I can't say I've ever heard mine before. Leave it plugged in, place a finger on top and feel if it's moving while someone clicks the switch.

I'd try borrowing someone elses relay and swapping temporarily to see if that's the cause. Otherwise you'll have to jump wires, test for voltage presence, etc.

Edit: I can't post the damn 2kB pic. Oh well, I just read your response, looks like you found it.

I have the same problem as Palumbo1337 ..
when i click the light switch twice, the only thing that happens is the headlights flip up and turn on... but when i click it once... the gauge lights, glovebox light, a/c panel light, and tail lights doesn't turn on...but the brake light works when i strp on the brakes...

I wasnt to check the TNS relay but could someone post a pic... because i dont know where is it...

the TNS relay is in the front relay box, the one that runs along the front of the frame.

I checked the TNS relay and it was fine... but my taillights fuse (15) were out... everytime i put a new one in and test it.. the fuse just blows.... sad... anyone have any ideal how to fix this problem?

i think i might got the wires a little wet becasue my clutch was sqeaking and i spray some wd40 on the bar which was sqeacking... ( stupid move)... I might got some of it on the wire... i sprayed it 9hrs before i try to turn the lights on a night.. could this be the problem...
