Interest in a Carbon Fiber UIM Cover?

Arrow Interest in a Carbon Fiber UIM Cover?
A friend of mine has been doing lots of work with composite carbon fiber and is thinking of making up an UIM c/f cover for the FD. Of course it will be a purely cosmetic piece, and he told me the price will be between $100-150 with price and volume being inversely proportional of course.

I would be interested assuming the fit and finish is top notch. If it could extend over the TB in some way, I think that would look best. My UIM is powdercoated in a boring grey, but it at least looks decent; however, my TB is one of the few items under my hood that doesn't look smooth and/or shiny.

good luck getting anything from Feed for $150. I saw what you were talking about, but the thing that looks like a carbon fiber intake is labeled as a surge tank cover.

The Feed one doesnt fit well, you have to shave alum off the uim to get it to fit.

SPOautos--they actually are in 100% carbon fiber now and are a better fit too, the first ones that we got were the prototypes
