Intercooler pipe painting

I want my car too look as stock as possible, including inside the engine bay. I want to paint my fmic i/c pipes black, but will be leaving the ic core itself chromly because I do not want it to effect its cooling capacity, even if there's a chance. Has anyone done this? I think this paint will work:

Any thoughts?
