Hey guys something to think about overnight. I just got done doing a ton of work on the car. put the engine back in today and mounted the greddy fmic and SR radiator. We have a apex intake and it is obviously not going to fit!(bastard!) Sooo,, does anyone have knowledge of if the greddy dual airnix intake system will work with that set-up? Sorry if this is a big repeat but i'm tired, been working on it for 2 days, and only have that left before we run again! The instructions for the FMIC say that they will assure it works with only their intake !! is this true before i buy one to end my frustration? Thanks again guys. i'll check back in the morning..

No, it is not true. You will have to cut the intake piping, for proper fitment.

soo shinobi, did you have to remove the bracket that holds the intakes together? It looks like you have more room than I from your picture.(Thanks by the way) What radiator do you have? It's starting to get light here so almost time to get back at it! yeeeee haaahhhhh!!!! Also did you ever have it mounted without the hard pipes and are the pipes what need to be cut? Thanks again!

 

That specific pic is not mine, but I'm currently installing the Greddy FMIC as we speak. I've had a few friends do it too. Either way, yes you do have to remove the brackets, and technically, you don't really need them anyway. As far as the radiator, I'm using a Koyo, but I've also seen it done with the Fluidyne- either is okay. The upper pipe will need to be cut to allow room for the intercooler piping, while you cannot use the lower intake hard pipe. You will have to use a rubber one and bend it to make it fit.
