Racing Beat Torque Brace. Any other options?

I just ordered Racing Beats Torque brace for my 88 turbo II. Well my fu*king luck the damn thing doesn't fit right. I installed the brace just to see if the torque rod would line up directly where i was going to drill on the driver side fender and it is all jacked up. Rod runs right into the brake booster. I double checked installation and you really can't screw that up(two bolts on the bell housing).

So after talking to Racing Beat and asking if the N/A versions brace was a little taller since the turbo brace is machined with the intercooler clearence in mind, they told me no. No biggy, my engine mounts are after market and are a little more shallow then the factory, hense the clearence problem with the rod.

To top it off, the torque brace looks like ****. Nothing like the glod/bronze brace Racing Beat displays on their website. They told me that the company who did all their machine work went out of business so this is the other businesses craftsmanship. I mean it is ghetto looking, "j" shaped brace with a welded loop hole on the top center. Also coated in a nasty looking zinc finish.

I am not going to install it but am curious of any ither brands out there. I found FEEDS for the FD but no FC. Sorry for the long post but if anyone knows anything please do tell.

*don't get me wrong about Racing Beat. I have always been pleased with their products, great quality(usually). I have the turbo back exhaust and I love it. Just dissapointed this is my first sour buy from them.

I've got the Mazdatrix strut tower bar with the integrated torque brace. No complaints from me...

I have the Feed engine brace for the FC (so it does exist) and the quality is amazing. It came with everything needed to be installed.

After searching for a while I decided to knock up my own.
Got a hold of an engine damper (lucky enough to find a place that would sell me just that) and made up some templates and had a metal place cut out some brackets in the shape I needed.
Hold up well adn haven't had any problems with it since installation nearly a year ago!
Here are some pics from when I first installed it!

Also worked out much cheaper than buying a name brand one!
