Installing supra tt fuel pump

I can't figure out how to take the filter off the bottom of the pump without breaking it. Anybody know any tricks to getting it off?

You can't take the filter off without damaging the metal clip. But the Filter itself should come off unharmed.

Yea I damaged the metal clip a little bit but it went back on. Thanks. Now on a more important question My fuel pump wired pulled out and I need to know if the black fuel pump wire goes next to the other red wire and the dark green fuel pump wire goes next the the green wire? Or is the other way around?

Ok I put the wires back on but I put the dark green next to the red wire and the black wire next the green wire. Does that sound right?

If I recall there is a blue and a black wire. Blue should be positive.

I think he's referring to the wires on the actual fuel sender unit. I always take them off one by one but I am pretty sure positive was blue.
