Installing Profec spec II question

Hey everyone, on the boost control device, which two holes do you use for teh wastegate control?

ITs not the COM one I dont think, but which of the other two goes to the actuator?

hey i installed this awhile ago....i had a manual that explained everything pretty clearly though. i'd take a look at it but it's packed away somewhere since i'm moving.

give greddy a call and they'll walk you through it.

or just wait a few days till i unpack some stuff and i can tell ya then

If it's connected to the ashtray light then you only have power when the lights are on. You want to use power that is on anytime the car is, like the cigarette lighter for instance.

YEah we were just trying to get it to turn on though, and it looks like we got a defective unit, as even when we connected it to teh battery it still failed to turn on.

Everything else we installed correclty, just no power.

The ashtray light is on the dimmer circuit which uses weird pulses to control the amount of light so it's not a good idea to hook stuff up there.

Can anyone recomend a good acc power point, I need to hook my profec up to something besides straight to the batt...

thanx

On the valve unit, use COM and NO. Connect the hose from the primary turbo nipple to the NO port. Connect the other hose from the COM port into the actuator. Cap off the other hose from the actuator that goes to the stock solenoid.

I just installed mine yesterday, works fine except a bug with the warning feature.

I used one hose from the turbo housing, capped the other nipple on the housing, into the NO port. I then used the COM port and a brass tee to go to both pre-control and wastegate actuators and capped both that go to the stock solenoids.

For the wire and hose, I drilled a hole in the firewall on the passenger side.

If you need pics lemme know I'll go take some. Hope this helps.
