Installing IGN-1A coil kit, need to know what to change within ECU

Since i got plenty of views and no replys in the Adaptronic forum maybe i can get something here.

I just got my kit from irperformance with IGN-1A coils and wiring kit. I just need to know what is supposed to be changed within eugene. Im currently running an
older select series 6 ecu (pre modular series). The car is a single turbo 13b FD and i have fresh BUR9EQP plugs to go with the install. Im running conservatively rich and only about 8-9psi. No plans to go higher until i finish collecting all the fuel upgrades and install the new ecu.

I found this thread https://www.rx7club.com/adaptronic-e...tings-1066512/
But this info was in 2014. Seems like a start but 7 years is a long time for information/programs to change.

So far, here's what i've found:
I need to change the trigger settings to "custom"
Change the ignition Output Pattern to "Direct Fire - 2 Rotor"
Adjust Spark Split table to basically all "10" except for startup at "5".
Keep the Dwell time (ms) at "3.000"
Im sure there's more so im hoping some of you experienced people can help out.

got the car fired up but i believe the idle was off. that or i just had a vacuum leak or the new coils overall act different.
Do i need to check the timing on each coil?

Direct fire may be wrong. I'll change it back to "wasted leading 2-rotor" and see if that makes a difference.

I dont know **** about adaptronic, but if you are still using factory harness between the ecu and the coils, then you should be configured for waste spark. The only other thing to change is coil dwell, you should be fine at 3.5ms. I do not see why you would need to change any other settings like trigger or split

Thanks, i reverted it to wasted spark and returned the spark split table to what was given on the basemap which should be stock. The car holds an idle much better, now i just need to adjust at the throttle body. Information on this stuff is very lacking which blows my mind.
