Installing Fuel Pressure Gauge Sender

I have an electronic fuel pressure gauge with sender

- where and how do I install the sender? it hooks up to a fuel line somewhere but where on the car and whats the safest way to do it?

Put it in the feed line before the fuel rails. It has to be before the fuel pressure regulator.

Yup, it can't be after the FPR. If you have an adjustable one like I do (aeromotive) you can use the side port on the FPR itself.

Well, what is your fuel setup? Do you have stock FPR or aftermarket?

You can splice the hose and insert the adapter above. You need to verify which will work becuase I don't remember the ID of the fuel hose.

The fuel hose is 5/16th, so those may work, you'll just really have to press the fuel lines on with some WD-40 for lube. You can always search around Jegs to get that same kind of fitting with 5/16th Barbed ends, which are a better piece IMO.

Edit, an adapter with 2 male ends more along these lines:

awesome i think ill go with the mr. gasket

can anyone confirm the ID is 3/8?

where is the main fuel line that i splice into?? am i going to have to go digging deep under the UIM? I really HATE MESSING WITH FUEL

read my post right above yours. It's 5/16th.

You can use the fuel feed which is located under your elbow, there are three lines all clustered together: feed, return, and the charcoal vent. You'll have to perform some detective work to determine which one is the feed vs the return, the charcoal line is pretty easy to determine.
