Installed RE regular vmount + powder coat pics.
Just finished up the install on a rotary extreme regular vmount kit + airbox.
The install was a nightmare, it was version 1 of the vmount kit. Had to drill the tow hooks and was having problems with the bottom brackets lining up correctly.
Performance wise, Coming from having Peter farrels setup (smic, duct, airbox combo). I gained nearly 1psi of boost (could be cause the weather is slightly colder) and throttle response is much more responsive (probably had something to do with the airbox on the PFS setup only being able to draw air from the duct), Can now spin the tires going threw 1st gear pretty easily, Could not before with the old setup.
Cooling side of things, crusing water temps are on average 5-10f lower, I can beat on the car alot longer at low speeds and takes alot longer before the VDO water temp gauge needle moves.
Picture time, I had the IC endtanks, strut bar, intercooler pipe, greddy elbow + bov, ypipe and airbox done in wrinkle black for $150. Went with that color for a stealth look, California cops are ****'s against shiney polished engine bay pieces.

Yea I was, after dealing with lots of flakes, dead beats, tire kickers, low ballers and all of my car enthusiast friends verbal slapping me about selling the FD for a 370z ( not to mention $20k in debt if i did go that route). I decided not to sell it and build it up debt free!
Full suspension refresh (pillowballs, all bushings, strut/spring), power fc + tune, water injection, midpipe, and hks twin power are on target for December.

Looks really nice, I wonder what it would look like with black silicone hoses?
You probably know this but I wonder if your tune is going to be off far enough because of better breathing to cause problems at higher boost levels? I see the PFC is in the cards. Dont blow it up until then :-)

Very nice set up, whenever I see a v mount I want one. However, those blue couplers and radiator hoses are a bit of a give away, I would consider replacing both with black pieces to further the sneakiness and aesthetics of the engine bay. That would be a great final touch.
