Inner Tie rod Source?

Inner Tie rod Source?
I've pretty much read every single thread having to do with inner tie rods although I came up with no answer for a source on the older style (fine thread) inner tie rods.
I purchased a inner tie rod from Autozone hoping I'd get lucky but it was the coarse thread which wont work with the fine thread I have. Besides the dealer, has anybody successfully bought a inner tie rod from a local parts store that was the older style? Advance Auto lists 3 different inner tie rods but they may all be the coarse thread.
Local dealer (high price) quoted $110.....autozone (new style) was ~$60. I tried calling Ray at Malloy but was unable to get a hold of him all day but I'd suspect it be around 80-90 bucks which isn't bad but I'd prefer the convenience of just picking it up locally if there was some place that carried it.
If not...then this thread can serve as info for future reference that that old style inner tie rod is only available from the dealer.
thanks

I just picked up a set of inners from Advance Auto. The brand was Moog. I'll have to check for you if they are the corse or fine thread, but, they came out of the Moog branded box in a Mazda OEM dealer parts bag with the Mazda parts number tag stapled to it exactly the way you would get it from the dealer. I think I paid Like $48 each, can't remember the exact amount.

Mmmmm, glad you brought this up.
I was considering changing mine inner tie-rods too.....trying to get rid of the last little remnant of "memory steering" left ---> https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...light=steering .

Ok well OneWheelPeel sent me pics of the one he got from Advanced Auto that oddly enough did have the OEM Mazda part's tag with it. Unfortunately that part number ended in a "B" which designates a revised/updated part. It was in fact the coarse thread (updated) inner tie rod which will not work for the earlier cars. It also looks like the actual ball socket is a little different which might be an easy way to tell the two apart. The New version has a rounded end where it meets the long rod portion of the tie rod. The old version is has a more flat/square end where it meets the long portion of the tie rod.
I spoke with Malloy and they have the older inner tie rod listed at $140 but discount it for members to $82.50. My local dealer had it for $110 so it looks like Malloy is going to be the cheapest source anywhere for the 93/early 94 year inner tie rods.
Autozone has the newer version. Advanced Auto listed 2 other inner tie rods but they would have to be ordered and with the car being down already as long as it has been, I just don't feel like dicking around waiting to see if either of those parts would match. I would bet money that they are probably the updated coarse thread anyways.
I am going to wrap the thread up with some pics of the old version and the new version to illustrate what specific differences we are actually talking about.
If anyone does eventually find an alternative source for the old version...please update this thread accordingly.
Cheers

According to the Moog suspension site, the thread for the tie-rod outer for a 1996 Nissan 240SX (M14x1.5) does NOT match up with the stock M12x1.25 threads:
