Injector rubber rings?

What is the part between the block and the injectors?

Hi, I reassembled my injectors after being victim of a fire and I saw that the "injectors gasket" (no it's not an o-rig) failed. I mean, there's a small rubber part that I can't figure where I can get. And dealership told me I'd need 4 of them, so 64 $ for little "rubber rings".

What is that part for?

Ok I meant "between the block and the fuel rails", is there any gasket/o-ring?

You mean the injector insulator, if so it is a o-ring that the injector sits in to keep dirt from getting at the injector seal....so yes there are rubber o-ring's and yes you need them

I'd say call KG parts see if they have the o-rings you need.

Thanks guys I've just found a treasure: manual workshop. Now I'm wondering how I can remove the air bleed socket (I want to see if its o-ring blown during the fire...)

To be sure I understand:

Injector - Fuel rail - Insulator - O-Ring - Air bleed socket.

Is it the right order?

Isn't there a competent FD shop in your area? Much better taking it to them then messing around with a fuel system you don't understand.

Hey m8!

No there's no competent FD shop in my area. The nearest FD is at 300 kms.

I'm almost done with the fuel system, I'm just wondering if my o-ring was shot.

Email Ray Crowe at HMKParts@aol.com and explain what you need. He'll ship to you up in Canada and save you money. I'd recommend replacing the air bleed sockets as well as the o-rings. Just be careful removing the sockets, pieces can break and fall into the engine..... they tend to get very brittle over time.
