Injector leak need info.

I have cleaned and tested my injectors upon swapping my engine. Now 3000km later one of my primary injectors are leaking up through the connector. After searching some forums I found that it's probably just the top o-ring leaking. I found o-rings on ebay but has anyone heard of them?

If you have a leak, fix it the right way using the right o-rings (i.e. OEM).

It's good you want it fixed soon, but fuel leaks needs to be fixed RIGHT. Rushing it just means at minimum doing the job again, or worse case an engine fire.

Get the right parts and do the job right.

I will get it done properly and with the right parts. I just wanted to know if heard of that o-ring kit. I want it fixed fast but not that i have to do it twice, lol. It's only summer here for a few months so I'd like to drive it.

Dale speaks the truth, OEM is the only way to go when replacing o rings especially in the fuel system. And when he says you risk an engine fire he also is not lying, this fire of mine was due to shitty o rings that were used by the company i had flow test and clean them. Good luck with this and id suggest NOT driving the car at all

Ray sells just the O-rings from mazda, and he can overnight them to you via FedEX. I bought a set and re did mine thinking that was the problem. Not so, mine had a tiny hairline crack in the injector itself that caused it to leak under pressure. So I ordered a new set of primaries from some place in Ontario CA. Problem solved. Orings were about $20 ish and the injectors ended up being $250.00. I assumed mine was the oring but if I would have done the fuel pump jumper and tested it it would have saved me two days of time.

By the way, if your in there and you haven't done the pulsation dampner in a while I would do that sucker too.

+1 for Ray Crowe

I just bought about $900 of stuff from him (no frisbee though *sniff sniff*) including the fuel recall kit. It includes all the lines, fittings, o-rings yadda yadda and is like $120 if I remember right.

Oh I have learned alot from this site and when i see Dale has posted something I
know it's the truth. I am not driving the car. If i hear something creek, bang or snap and always burning oil smells and now fuel smell I pull over and inspect right there! I have so much money into this car that a 5 cent o-ring can cause a huge fire, no the car is parked.

Mazda opens up here soon so i'll call and see what they have in stock.

Alright I went and ordered the o-rings from mazda($43) kinda steep but I know they are oem quality. Anyway they came in today so I finally could drive my car today, well as soon as I install them.

I thought I could do it without removing the rats nest but i didn't want to break the top of the injectors. So I unbolted the coil packs and some vacuum lines and just moved everything out of the way and really that only took about 20 min.

I removed both fuel rails and pulled the injectors out on the bench. Still pretty tough but them popped out. Installed everything that i need to so i could prime the fuel pump and found not fuel leaking anywhere!! So if anyone has this problem this site and a few hands tools to work with you should be able to do fix your leak in a few hours. Anyway time to enjoy the rest of the summer, well until something else comes up. That's why you should alway have a spare car when owning an rx7!
