Inaccurate gauges

Hi-
I have a 93 rx7 Touring. Ever since I bought it 40k ago the speedometer and fuel gauge aren't accurate. For instance if I fill the tank it shows about 4/5 full. On the speedometer side it seems to be always about 10 MPH to high so that if you are doing 70 it may read 80. In fact at ideal it reads about 15.
Is this typical, has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks

never heard of it. It's more common for the tach to stop working all together, but inaccurate readings? not typical.
