Importing 3rd gen
Hi all,
For all the aussies out there, I was wondering if anyone had had any experience importing 3rd gens to Australia form Japan or New Zealand.
I am looking into bringing one over but so far have not had much good news. From what I understand they can only be brought over as race or rally cars.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Thanks
Roc

When I was in Okinawa, I tried to ship a T2 and an FD back to America, this is what I ran into...
The DMV has changed the regulations for importing vehicles that are right-hand drive only. They must be provided with a set of crash test results, for the right-hand drive vehicle, before they are allowed to be imported. You can talk to someone at Motorex (www.motorex.com) to find out more about the new importation regulations that have been changed. I'm sure there's a loophole somewhere, I just couldn't find it. If you have any luck, I'd really like to find out about it.
