R1
Twin oil coolers
Engine strut bar
Slightly altered suspension
Cloth seats as opposed to leather
No bose stereo system
No sunroof (though some were ordered with)
functional front and rear spoilers
Touring
Leather seats
Bose Stereo system
single oil cooler
no engine strut bar
There was differences in stock color choices and such as well, and they're probbaly a few more differences between the two, but these are the major ones that come to mind right now. I'm also not sure about thebase model, and what it has/lacks.
Hope that helped.

Engine performance is the same in all 3 models. However, the R1 model has the stiffest suspension setting. The Touring and Base have softer settings. The R2 (94 and 95) have less than R1 stiffness as well.
