A imagequstion...

Hi everyone! My first post in here..

I was gonna check my oil-level today, when i saw this!
The engine is newly rebuilt, due to a rotaryfailure.
I can also add that the engineoil smells like gasoline.

I hope someone can help me out..

Kind regards
Christoffer

Both the tan oil/water condensation, and a gas smell in the oil are perfectly normal.

I believe that's pretty normal.

The white goo is what a water/oil emulsion looks like. In this case, it's no problem, since it's due to condensation of combustion water in the filler neck.

However, you definitely do not want to see it in your coolant, or when you drain the oil. In those cases, it could be a sign of coolant seal failure.
