im new

hello everyone im new here.... i been looking into getting an rx-7. i have a sc400 now 95. Im wondering if you guys can give me some information on these rotary engines and if they are good? Im a fan of japanese cars due to their reliability. Like the lexus and supras for example. runs up to like 200,000 miles.

My questions are if the rx-7 i was looking into this one.http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ca...or=&cardist=77

is this a good deal for this car? Also I was looking to see if someone could plz post the specs like host power and what other 1/4 miles this does stock? What other cars are in the catagories with rx-7's? Are they up with the v8 vettes, supras, turbo is300, possibly acura nsx's?

I also like the photo shoot I saw with the three rx7's hosted by the guys in IO. Im wondering what are the best upgrades to get for someone new to add more horsepower???? Also the best fit rims/tires? I really want a HKS BOV (the best one) for this car. Also how does it sound? is this a cool ride? good pickup? hows the rotary engine? gas mileage? What i really liked too was on fast on furious the red rx-7 had a veilside bodykit, how do u guys feel about these bodykits and where can you purchase them? Another thing, The custom headlights that are on those 2 cars in the photo shoot what and where can you get them from? I really like that look.

Thanks guys

welcome to the forum. however, you may find that people are not too receptive to your post; we get this question at least 6-7/week. just use the search, but to give you a simple answer; no, the RX7 is not reliable.

Your typical high mileage, modded-up-the-***, beat-on RX-7, yes. That '94 R2 w/ 28K, if he keeps it stock and takes care of it, should be fairly trouble-free.

How about this one. http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ca...lor=&cardist=0

This is a good one. All other FD's are unreliable. This is the one you want.

please note that BOVs are for venting air surges, not sound.
