I'm getting 14 PSI as a boost spike with stock car.

I dont consider it a problem since i have had my car all summer and only has an exhaust on it.

Bought my boost gauge and saw 11-8-10 and hitting 14 then it quickly got down to 10 again.

What do u think about it?

I would consider that a problem because every time you spike, you are running lean for that amount of time (assuming you still have stock ecu). What cat-back are you using?

boost spikes are comon among rx7's with the sequential setup. If i were you i'd be very careful with your car as those boost spikes could cuz your engine bye bye. get an upgraded ecu or take the exhaust out.

When did you spike? At ~4500 rpms? That's a definite problem. My Greddy Profec B cured my problem--might be better to spend $300 now rather than $3000 later. I had a Manual Boost Controller before that and it didn't help much.

i had the same problem. make a manual boost controler. it all depends on how thick the tube is you use with the bc. i used 6mm and now my boost is perfect and tuneable.

boost spikes are NOT common among FDs that are running just catback...
