Hey guys

I have a 92 JDM FD3S, and the door switches (that trigger the dome light) seem to be broken. The done light doesn't seem to come on when I open the door (even when the switch is set to door). I did however notice that the ignition key ring light comes on momentarily and then goes off a few seconds later.

Can anyone tell me what triggers the ignition key ring? Is it triggered by the door and has a times delay to turn off?

The dome light operates by the jamb switch located at the lower rear of the door opening.
The ignition switch light is activated by a switch on the driver's side exterior door handle.

I had taken apart my exterior door handle to refinish it a while back and never connected the wire (key hole light) on the handle itself. Is the switch you that triggers the ignition key ring, located on the door handle on the inside of the car (behind the door cards)?

Also, a second question, is there a third dome light bulb that comes on when the doors are open or does the door jamb switch trigger the same left/right dome bulbs?
