I would recommend buying an aftermarket temp gauge so you can verify your temps. You don't have to spend a ton of money on some super Defi gauge, just get something so you can know what's going on.

in the link it says that the filler neck cap is non-spring. Mine is spring i believe 16 psi. My AST is 13psi. Should i get a non-spring cap?

The filler neck cap should not have a spring and the AST cap should have one.

I agree with this assessment of your situation - my gauge is linearized and acts similarly to yours. I just noted the usual needle angles during use when things are OK, and use them for reference.

On my linearized gauge, the green lines show what the pointer position means.

dude you have a bad thermostat..thats the same problem i had...my pfc read 115 when it was that hot...so i took out the thermostat and replaced it. it went back to normal..like my fan would always kick in but the water isn't getting transfered through the engine..the thermostat wouldn't open up....usually it opens up at 95 then cools back down to 88 or 90. my advice is don't drive until you change the thermostat or find out wahts wrong cause you might end up rebuilding your motor instead.....
