Idle relearn

Was wondering if when doing an idle relearn, is disconnecting the IAC motor when adjusting the same as jumping the ten and gnd in the diag. connector? And which adjustment is best to do first- the air bypass under the TB or the stop screw with locknut on the side of the TB? My idle is steady around 1300 when fully warm. Im going to check if the wax rod is coming out but wanted to start with a relearn.

Idle that high a relearn won't do anything. You most likely have a vacuum leak. You can verify this by unplugging the ISC when the car is warmed up - if you still have a high idle, the ECU has nothing to do with it.
