idle probs. (also posted in lounge)
so many problems...well not that many, but enough to keep me postin probs. and thanks for the help thus far.
ok, I start the car, and it revs up to a bit above 1000 rpm, I give it some warm up time, then chills out...normal right? then, with the parking break up and in neutral, rev it to anywhere above 2, and let if off. Its rev down is normal until it gets below 1, and nearly drops off below like 200 to 100 and tries to stall out. But it picks it self back up, and idles out at just about 700-800. Weird. I dont know what to make of it. Bad battery? alternator?
NE ideas? THX.

This sounds like the idle dashpot is miss-adjusted or has failed. This little item is suppose to slow the rate at which the primary throttle butterfly close so that the engine RPM doesn't drop down too low. See page F-124 in the manual for details or I can send you a copy of the scanned page.
