idle problem

sngle turbo stock motor no emissions and pfc.

my car just started idleling like **** out of no where... so i checked for a vac leak and found one small hose go unplugged from the upper intake manifold. my boost gauge used to read 20 pounds of vac now it reads 16....and my a/f at idle is richer now its at around 12.3 when before it was at around 14.2....i chaged my plugs four month ago i have the ngkR 7 my car idle perfect foe 2 years... i havent messed with any od the settings on my pfc...im also untuned but im only boosting 7psi untill i get it tunned.....bigger pump but still have stock injectors......

any ideas i thought maybe the tps....but the car drives like it always did nice and strong....just the idle is acting up......it will idle at 900 for about 1 min and then the idle drops slowly until the car dies.???

any help will be great...thanks

check your fuel filter and you might have used bad gas or low octane. the pfc will cause your idle to jump sometimes until you get it tuned even at that sometimes it does that. try disconnecting your battery for 5 min. start it up and let it idle for a minute or two so the ecu can read it. it might work

i had the pfc installed for 2 years never had a problem i did the idle learn wen i first installed the pfc.....for fuel i always use 93 octane i filled up 3 days ago and i have half a tanks still of the same fuel...

ill try disconnecting the battery for 5 mins and start her back up...

do you know what my boost gauge should read at idle? it read 20 vac for 2 years and now it reads like 15-16 at idle at around 800 just has a wierd skip

the motor also shakes a lil..... thanks for the imput lassen

I'd give everything a once over, and if you don't find anything it's time for a compression check.

do you know what numbers i should see on a piston engine compression tester?

i was told around 95psi is still a good motor.

vacuum at 15 is normal your motor is probably fine. it might be time for a tune.

As I understand it 90-100 range is starting to get weak, but still drivable.

the battery trick did not work....

but yesterday night it was pulling 19 vac and if i drive it when i come to a stop the idle drops real low like 200rpms and right when its about to die it picks it self back to 800 and idle funny like before?

i will do the compression check today.
