idle hunt pfc

So I installed my PFC and I just have the base map, when I stop at a stop sign or when I first turn on the car it will idle hunt for like 30 seconds then it idles nice at 800-900 rpms... is there something I need to do to fix that or will it be fixed with getting it tuned on saturday?

There is something you can do to fix it but that doesn't mean wherever you take it is going to put the time in to get the idle right. https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/how-make-your-untuned-pfc-basemap-safer-idle-better-no-datalogit-needed-841706/ #1, 23, 27, 28

Chances are it is getting too much air.

As is detailed in the post by arghx
First thing to do is adjust the idle air screw on the throttle body.
Mine worked fine after I did this with no trip to a tuner requried

idk I cant seem to fix the idle hunt... it only happens when you increase the fuel and then let off back to normal idle then it hunts for 20-30 seconds and then stops idle hunting

most likely fuel cut settings, throttlebody air adjusting screw, or dashpot. it would be easier to diagnose with data logs.

just go through the procedures I've already outlined. There are four posts in that thread and another dedicated thread that I link to in one of those posts.

there are more things to try. keep reading. As I've stated in the past, it usually isn't a problem you can quickly and easily fix. It could take 10 minutes or 10 hours.

Nope that wasnt it... now I turned on my car, it didnt idle hunt, I drove about 1 mile or less and then it starts hunting, it didnt start to hunt until I pulled back in... it almost seems heat related?
